...running track has been in good condition and has been used for practice by the Mott Haven candidates. Most of the men, except a few doubtful ones from '88, are now taking light exercise daily. There are not as many sprinters as usual now at work. For the quarter and half mile runs there are about the average number of candidates, and an unusually large number of mile runners.
