Boarders in her stately, elm-shaded house in the early 1900s included Chauncey Ryder, Henry W. Ranger, Childe Hassam, Clark Voorhees, other U. S. Impressionists. Last year when she became too poor to keep her house, former New York State Supreme Court Justice Robert McCurdy Marsh bought it, gave her a free lease for life...
