Coach Winsor gave the hockey squad a light workout yesterday afternoon in anticipation of the second Yale game to be played tomorrow night. For the first fifteen minutes the forwards were sent down the ice in lines against five backs in order to develop quicker and surer passing than they have been showing recently. This was followed by a short fifteen minute scrimmage between the regulars and a scrub team composed of the B. A. A. backs and the second string forwards, who distinguished themselves by scoring two goals while the University seven was unable to secure one. The second...

...game by this method of attack, yet has not completed a forward pass against Brown for three years, while Harvard has been very successful against us with her passing game. The Yale line is heavier and has more power than Harvard and ought to be able to offset the quicker charge of the Crimson line. Defensively, this weight and power advantage ought to be a great asset to Yale, provided the men are not given too explicit instructions to watch some individual star on the Harvard team. Team A missed several chances to score and in general seemed to have less snap than the substitutes. The stick-work of both teams needs considerable improvement, but the team-play was better and the shooting quicker and more accurate: Judging by Yale's apparent lack of team-play in last Saturday's game, this seems to be the University's best chance to win next Saturday...
