A victory in this event is more coveted than is any contest of the year In it the athletic interest of the year culminates, a victory being the greatest glory and defeat the greatest disappointment. We look forward to the race this year with confidence and well earned victory may check the decline of Harvard's athletic prestige that reawaken the old-time enthusiasm which will bring success in the other branches of athletics next year...
