The club passed a vote of thanks to Mr. Kirk Corey for his kindness in allowing the use of his bicycle to Bailey, '91, during the Harvard-Tech. road race. The resignation of Mr. G. H. Owing to the fact that the notices of the Canoe Club races were not published until yesterday morning, entries will not be closed until just before the race this afternoon. Class 4 has been entered by Hollis French and J. W. Cartwright of the Puritan Canoe Club; George Batchelder, '92, and C. P. Cheney, '92, and by Wainwright, '91, and Crowninshield, '90. ...Harvard-Tech. bicycle race Saturday afternoon resulted in a creditable victory for Harvard. Notwithstanding the bad weather and the consequent wretched condition of the roads the race was run in very fast time, and was close and exciting. The two races between Harvard and Tech. This year have both been so successful that it is to be hoped that a similar race may be a regular semi-annual, or at least, an annual event.
