...Worcester High School crew defeated the Sophomore eight on Saturday afternoon by half a length, over a 1 1-2 mile course on Lake Quinsigamond. At no time during the race was there open water between the shells and the Sophomores showed much better form than their opponents. The High School crew, however, rowed a higher stroke and maintained it the whole length of the course...
