...upper class relay race was very close between the Juniors and Sophomores. For 1907, Doyle, who had the pole led for the first relay and finished about ten yards ahead. Van Brunt, who ran second for the Sophomores, passed Dick '07 in the second lap and finished about 10 yards ahead of him. In the third relay the Juniors again took the lead.
