Harvard secured first and third places in both the mile and two-mile. The mile was won by H. F. Miller, Jr., '08, who took the lead at the start and gradually increased it during the race, winning in 4 minutes, 36 1-5 seconds. Barstow of Dartmouth was second and E. L. Viets '10 third. ...Beacon Cup Regatta has been provisionally arranged to be rowed at 2 o'clock on Saturday, May 16, over the one and seven-eighths miles course from the Longwood Bridge to the foot of Berkeley street.
