Following the announcement on Thursday that an inter-House tennis trophy has been donated to the College for spring and fall competition, word has been received by W. J. Bingham '16, director of athletics, that B. S. Prentice '05 has offered to provide for a cup for House squash racquet tournaments. This cup would probably be in the form of a permanent trophy, to be held by the House winning an annual tourney. In the letter of presentation, as received by Mr. Bingham on Saturday, he refers to the donation of this cup as follows...

...know, St. Paul's School has played a very big part in squash racquets both at Harvard and here in New York, and some of the greatest players of the day, such as Larry Poole and Herbert Rawlins, learned their game there.
