...Princeton weekend brings with it a variety of House Dances. Adams House presents the "Tiger's Tale" with Ken Hamilton's Orchestra and the Historic Jazz Band. Eliot features "The Princeton Triangle Revue Show," with Jeff Carleton's Orchestra. Kirkland's "Tiger Rag" has Princeton's Own Minstrels, the Joe Abbott Quintet, and asorted folk singers...
...nabbing ten Royal Knights allies who were waiting on a Bronx rooftop to ambush an oncoming invasion of the neighborhood by revenge-seeking Valiant Crowns. In the ambush arsenal: 20-gauge shotgun, .22-cal. rifle, two hunting knives, stacks of bricks, nine Molotov cocktails-gasoline-filled bottles with rag wicks, to be ignited just before the bombs were hurled. It took top German engravers seven months to get a satisfactory plate made (the figure of Britannia gave them particular trouble), and still longer to match the bluish rag paper that the real notes were printed on. Dates and serial numbers were carefully checked against real ones. At last came the test. A Gestapo agent took some of the bogus notes to a Zurich bank, said he was afraid that they were counterfeit, asked the Swiss to run tests...
