...Hancock, N. H., last Tuesday at the advanced age of ninety-one years. He was educated in the Boston schools, and, after a course in the Lawrence Scientific School, received a practical working training in railway machine shops at Dover, N. H. He then went south, and, after some railroad work in Georgia, surveyed the line from Talahassee, Fla., to the east coast during the Seminole war.
