Yesterday afternoon the high jump and pole vault which were postponed from the 'Varsity games of April 17, on account of rain, were jumped off. In the high jump, Putnam, Stickney and Holt had been tied, but as Stickney was unable to perform on account of his injured knee, only Putnam and Holt jumped, the former winning with 5 ft. 8 in., Holt doing 5 ft. 6 3-4 in. Preparations have been completed for the annual Harvard interscholastic tennis tournament, which will take place on Jarvis Field, Saturday, May 2, commencing at 9 o'clock. In case of rain the tournament will be held on the next pleasant Saturday. Matches will be best two in three up to final, and final will be best three in five, vantage sets. A handsome silver cup will be awarded the winner of the tournament and a Sears' "Special" to the runner-up. A championship banner will be given the school winning the greatest number of points, each actual victory in every round...
