Yesterday afternoon, the Freshman eleven had the last practice of the season. The work was light, and though both the first and second elevens ran through their signals, there was no line-up. Both teams spent much of the time improving the interference for the backs and getting down the field on kick-offs. In running through the signals, the men were slow, and time after time lost the ball on fumbles. Besides this weakness, the old tendency to start before the ball was put in play was very apparent. Towards the end of the practice, however, the work...

Yesterday afternoon the Freshman eleven lined up for fifteen minutes against a scrub team composed partly of 'Varsity men. The interference for 1901 was weak at times and there was a marked tendency towards individual playing in place of team work. After this the first eleven ran through their signals and then lined up against the second for a few minutes play. Dibblee and Warren, however, both did excellent work under the conditions, and would doubtless have increased the gains, had the forwards prevented the Yale line from getting throught...

...minor gains, Haughton caught McBride's free kick in the middle of the field and returned on the next play. Both teams kicked continually, and Yale succeeded in advancing the ball on these plays to Harvard's 40 yard line. Haughton then kicked to DeSaulles, who eluded Cabot and ran 20 yards to the middle of the field...

...punted to Haughton who advanced the ball to the 30 yard line. Warren made 15 yards around Hall. Dibblee eight yards around right end Yale's ball for offside play in the middle of the field. Haskell blocked McBride's punt and Cabot fell on the ball. Warren again ran 20 yards around Hall. Yale then held for downs on the 35 yard line. Another of McBride's punts was partially blocked and Garrison fell...
