...Before the second made the first score, it was held on the 7-yard line for downs. After that the opponents weakened and were unable to stop the Harvard attack. The play on which the second gained the most ground throughout the game was that in which the ends ran with the ball from their regular positions. In the second half, R. M. Page ran 40 yards through a broken field after recovering the ball on a poor pass for a kick. Fort McKinley then made 20 yards on a forward pass from a very open formation...

Just before reaching the Cottage Farm Bridge the University crew ran into a launch anchored in the stream. All four starboard oars, and two of the outriggers hit, and all headway was stopped. At the time the University eight was only about two lengths of open water behind the second boat and fully three lengths were lost. With six lengths...

...Juniors' 45-yard line. A forward pass was tried again unsuccessfully and Heath and Foster again gained well on their skin-tackle and line-bucking plays. When at last they were held for downs on 1912's 40-yard line, they stole the ball on the next play and ran the length of the field for a touchdown, but this was not allowed and the Sophomores were forced to kick. Stebbins recovered the punt, and on the next play took the ball, on a wide end run, to the Juniors' 8-yard line. Three line bucks were unable to bring...
