...Haven, Conn., November 13, 1907.--The Yale cross-country team defeated the University team here this afternoon in the first run ever held between the two universities by the score of 35 to 44. Nine men ran on each team, the first six for each scoring according to the numerical value of their positions at the finish, and the team with the least score winning. M. B.
