Almost the entire squad was out on the field yesterday. Shea was again back in the scrimmage, at left tackle on the first eleven, and Knowlton also appeared at his old position at right tackle. Parkinson was not in the line-up, although he ran through signals on the University eleven. Owing to a bad knee, received in Saturday's game, Nichols was not out for practice. Bleakie was tried at center on the second in the signal practice, and Hanley was put in at left half on the substitute eleven, neither, however, went into the game...

...twenty-minute scrimmage between the first and second teams, marked by loose playing throughout, resulted in three touchdowns for the first, all by straight football. Marshall ran the first kick in from the 20 to the 45-yard line, and then the ball was taken straight down the field, Harrison making the first touchdown. The second eleven received the next kick-off and Morris ran the ball in 7 yards to the 22-yard line. On two plays through the line, the second made first down, and then Morris made 10 yards around the end. After the second had gained...

...game was much better than during the second half when only six points were added to the score. A sensational start was made when Nichols recovered Schoellkopf's fumble of the kick-off, and threading his way, with the aid of excellent interference, through the entire Brown team, ran 105 yards for a touchdown. Marshall kicked goal. After the next kick-off a series of exchanges of punts ended in a fumble which gave Harvard the ball on Brown's 28-yard line. From here gains by Hurley and Meier carried the ball to the 5-yard line...

...very easy game. There has been a great scarcity of available material at Brown this season, and the team is one of the weakest that has represented that university for a number of years. Two weeks ago Princeton beat Brown 29 to 0, and last Saturday Pennsylvania ran up against them a score of 30 to 0. Captain Webb, however, who had been barred from playing by a condition, returned to the game on Thursday and his presence in the Brown line should add materially to its strength...
