...Departments of English and Comparative Literature, was injured in an automobile accident yesterday morning. He was on his way out to College from his home in Boston, and near Central square another car came out of a side street and in trying to avoid it, the chaffeur ran into a lamp-post. Professor Wendell was thrown through the windshield, suffering cuts about the head and a general shaking up. The injuries are not serious, however, and Professor Wendell will be able to go on as usual with his classes in a few days...
