From there it circled and led back along Health street to Dunster road. At this point Jaques and Lawless were in the same positions they held at the start of the race, first and second respectively. Chatfield ran back the kick-off to the 30-yard line. Bliss punted to Princeton's 25-yard line, where Gardiner intercepted a forward pass. Harvard made first down on line plunges, but Princeton got the ball on a fumble and punted to midfield. Devereux recovered a punt on Princeton's 25-yard line.
