...third match Carroll Harrington '24 ran through R. G. Kaufman 15-11, 15-12, 15-7. In defeating R. S. Rush 11-15, 15-12, 15-11, 15-11, A. L. Smith '25 displayed the steadiness which has marked his playing all this fall. F. I. Buell practiced with team A yesterday for the first time since the Princeton game. Owing to the rain; the work out was confined to the cage where Coach Knox's eleven ran off Yale plays in a dummy scrimmage with the first eleven. The latter team lined up with Jenkins and Hill ends, Greenough and Dunker tackles, Kunhardt and Miller guards, Clark center, Buell quarterback, Owen Gohrke, and Chapin backs. The Freshmen then improved their defence and fought Andover to a 0-0 tie, only to be downed by Exeter on the following Saturday 20 to 6. Two weeks ago the yearlings tasted victory for the first time in getting the edge on Dean Academy 18-13. In a hard-fought game with Coach Knox's seconds...

Although out-played for the greater part of the game, Princeton was victorious, 10 to 0, chiefly through the brilliancy of Cleaves, who intercepted a pass and unaided ran 70 yards through a broken field for a touchdown. The punting of Cleaves was the feature of the game as well as several excellent run backs of kicks which he executed in the second half. The Princeton line was completely outplayed in the opening periods but later stiffened and more than held...
