Judging by the records made by Princeton in taking three first places, a second, a third and a fourth at the Meadowbrook races 10 days ago, it seems more than probable that the University will meet with strong opposition from the Tiger track squad. Princeton has seven of last year's first-string men back this spring and among them such stars as C. R. Erdmann, who recently equalled the world's record by running the 45-yard high hurdles in six seconds flat, and S. P. Sinclaire, who broke the record by putting the 12-pound shot 51 feet...

Yale, while not so well off for experienced runners as Princeton, promises to furnish a strong team. G. F. Sweeney recently broke the indoor pole vault record by clearing 12 feet 2 inches, tying with Myers of Dartmouth. F. P. Heffelfinger, in the 440, and D. Aikenhead, in the 880, can be relied on to come in among the first in their respective events. Altogether, the Elis would appear to have a well-balanced team for the coming season...
