...Courant and Record have got into an imbroglio of a most disgraceful character. The first blow was struck by the Record, in a four-page editorial of immoderate tone, charging the Courant with not fairly representing the College, and with having failed to perform the pledges given at its start. The spleen of the writer, however, is evidently directed against a particular individual, and finds vent in numerous villifying and offensive personalities.
