Francke, '89, is trying for centre field. He filled that position well last fall. If he does not get on the nine it will be owing entirely to his poor record as a batsman...

With '86 the nine loses four of its best players, and the three lower classes are expected to fill these positions next year. The idea of offering a cup for the best pitching record is an especially good one, and may bring out a man who, with coaching, may fill this position next season.
