As failures decline, hoarders of currency would be encouraged to redeposit their cash. Such redeposits. in turn, would strengthen banks and reduce their demands for more loans from the Federal Reserve. Hoarded currency would again start flowing back toward the Federal Reserve whose supply of loan funds would thus be replenished to meet what would then become the disappearing problem...
