Since 1919 the Army has maintained a string of horses at Soldiers Field for the use of the Regiment. In years past the mounts have were used by ROTC polo teams and various horsedrawn outfits which have functioned during spring drills. Polo teams were discontinued last year, and this year the horses have been used only in equitation classes and for privileged riding...
