Besides the regular gold, silver and bronze medals, certain challenge prizes have been offered by private individuals and societies. Among these is an exact reproduction of the Pourtales vase in the British Museum, on a specially designed pedestal to be competed for by amateur epee fencers, and offered by the Fencers of the United Kingdom.
