Yesterday afternoon numerous changes were made in the line-up of the University football team. P. Withington, who has been playing regular centre, was moved to his last year's position at guard; Rogers, who has been in the backfield squad, was given a trial at end, his former position; and Perkins was moved to centre to take Withington's place. Captain Fish, Corbett, and P. D. Smith were all on the field but did not take part in the scrimmage. Hooper and L. Withington played the tackle positions in the absence of the regulars, Fish and McKay...
Dormitory rowing has been continued from year to year because it provides an easy means for a large number of men to take regular exercise, and because the scrub crews are all feeders for the University squad. Galatti was tried at halfback, shifting from his regular position of quarter. Long and Rogers showed up strongly, the former making the touchdown...

Cutler was in his regular seat at stroke with Waid at 7, while Newton, who stroked last year's Freshman crew, was in at 6. Metcalf, last year's Freshman eight captain and 7, filled in Withington's place at 5. Bacon was at 4 again with Whitney and Sargent at 3 and bow respectively. Leslie, who was at 4 in the Freshman eight last year, rowed 2. The rowing of the University crew seemed fairly good...
