This race will be followed by the University race with Cornell, which will be started at the Union Boat Club at 4.30 o'clock and rowed upstream over the regular mile and seven-eighths course. The Boston police have undertaken to police the course, and the river will be closed to navigation on the afternoon of the race. Mr. Meikleham, who has for years refereed the University boat races at New London and Poughkeepsie, will act as referee, and C. H. Schweppe '02 as chairman of the Regatta Committee.
