...nets and on the diamond. The pitching was done by Stillman, Kernan, MacDonald and B. A. Hayes '98. The men showed improved form in batting and made a number of clean, hard drives. Wendell's backstop work was good, but he was weak in throwing to second. Reid's throwing to bases was remarkably swift and accurate. The fielding practice was sharp and more accurate than on Tuesday. Kendall, though fairly sure on thrown balls, is still very weak in fielding batted balls, and his throwing yesterday was uncertain. The outfielders are showing considerable improvement in getting under long flies...
...Reid caught a very steady game and much better than he has of late. Coolidge showed great improvement in his hitting, but was erratic in his fielding. Wendell and Stillman also batted well. Stillman pitched a creditable game, though lacking his usual good control. For Pennsylvania Collier and Shape did most of the hitting. The infield had easy chances for the most part, and, except in the eighth inning played a good game...
