...statement issued by Professor Maher before his Soc Sci 15b class can be attributed to the erroneous and misleading nature of his announcement. Professor Maher's statement was interpreted by myself and other Soc Sci 15b students whom I have talked with as indicating that the Psych and Soc Rel department, as part of its curriculum and using its faculty in their professional roles, was offering a special review section excluding non-"minority" students. However, this was most definitely not the case...
