...Again we remind all members of the University who wish to hear Dr. Fiske's second lecture this evening of the necessity of being on hand early. On Tuesday there were a large number of students standing in the aisles before the time announced for the lecture to begin. It is a shame that this should be so, but if the University does not see fit to limit the attendance of outsiders, there is nothing for students to do but to anticipate the inhabitants of Cambridge at the doors...

...wish to remind members of the University of the second Vesper Service of the year this afternoon. Owing partly to the weather and partly to the lack of due notice, the services were not begun last week as favorably as usual. This service, as Dr. Moxom then said, is characteristic in its simplicity and in the free opportunity for worship which it offers, of the religious life of the University. As such it has always appealed to a large number of students, and we trust that it will continue to do so this year...

Lamson, Wolffe and Co. have issued a pretty little volume in conjunction with John Lane of London. It is called "The Viol of Love," a collection of poems by Charles Newton-Robinson. The poems are symbolistic and vaguely remind one of Verlaine. Several translations and paraphrases of Horace are extremely well done...

There is no need to remind any Ninety-six man that this year is the last chance his class has for winning the football championship. All will remember that. We have only to urge upon seniors the importance of giving to the players who represent them the support implied by a large attendance at the game. Ninety-seven will not be beaten without a hard struggle this afternoon, and which ever side wins, the game is sure to be an exciting one. What class enthusiasm Ninety-six has, should show itself today...
