...examining the ink written on a tarot card found at one of the 12 shooting sites, hoping to link it to a specific kind of pen, law-enforcement sources told Time. Agents dismissed as unrelated a shell casing found in a white box truck at a car-rental agency near Dulles Airport in Virginia. And the FBI is reviewing credit-card receipts from filling stations near the shooting sites, in case the killer staked out his crime scenes and gassed up while he was at it. Cruise along the river, stroll the old city, practice French and visit exhibitions of late great national painters (in this case, Jean-Paul Riopelle). For that bistro experience try L'Express. Or go fancier with Toque!'s cold cod soup and leg of lamb...
...sailboat-rental agencies report a jump in business from European and Latin American executives. Many of their sailing schools at home have adopted U.S. certification standards, and they can use that "passport" in Yankee waters. Castle Harbor has contracted with U.S. Olympic sailing gold medalist Magnus Liljedahl to teach corporate groups, who hope that learning mainsheets might help improve their balance sheets. So who said sailing was supposed to be relaxing...
