A meeting will be held at Annapolis on May 10 for the purpose of forming an intercollegiate fencing association. Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Pennsylvania, Annapolis and West Point will be represented in the new association. J. P. Parker '96 and T. D. Roberts '03 will probably represent Harvard.
G. E. Hyde '04, who was to represent the American Universities in the coming cable chess match with Cambridge and Oxford, will be unable to play. E. B. Adams of Yale will take his place. The rest of the team is unchanged.
The trials to select the teams to represent Harvard in the mile, two-mile and four-mile relay races in the University of Pennsylvania relay carnival at Philadelphia next Saturday, were held on Soldiers Field last Thursday.
