Professor William James of the Philosophical department, presided at the annual meeting of the American Society of Psychical Research on Tuesday evening in Boston. It was voted to discontinue the American society as a separate organization and form an American branch of the English society. Professor James delivered an interesting address on the recent progress of psychical research in England, France, and elsewhere.
