...interest of the college for the last few days has of course centered on Princeton's action in the present athletic controversy, and the result of the game has simply been to strengthen Harvard men in their previous attitude toward the question. Of the game itself it is perhaps best to make little criticism. Our team certainly has more reason for pride than for regret. ...method of sale of reserved seat tickets for the Yale game at Springfield has been very unsatisfactory. Instead of reserving specified seats, an enormous number of tickets has been issued admitting the holder to the grand stand. The result is that the very object for which seats are reserved is not accomplished, and purchasers of the tickets will have to go as early to get good seats as though they had not paid an extra price. The difficulty is made more by the ease with which the tickets may be counterfeited. Indeed, it is reported that counterfeits have already appeared...
