...Gannett returned to the lineup Saturday against Holy Cross and collected three hits in addition to playing a nice game afield. His return makes the Crimson well fortified in the outer gardens and may eventually and Sophomore Gone Levett to the sidelines. Fred Hockel played in Keyes place at shortstop throughout most of the Holy Cross game after Art Johns was driven off the mound back to his regular post at the keystone sack.
