...positive direction to be a contender and one day win a championship.”The team has only been practicing since last Friday, but Amaker is pleased with what he has seen so far. One of the biggest pluses from these few training sessions has been the return to health of junior forward Pat Magnarelli. The big man was one of the Crimson’s top performers in the early part of last season, averaging 10.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. ...were white hot. We were on top of the shots.” Clayton had nothing but praise for his teammate Chijoff-Evans’s level of play and focus throughout the tournament. “Alexei served huge and allowed me to return solid, and he gave me perfect volley opportunities. After four of its first five drives came up empty—including the fifth, which ended with a Dorris interception return for a touchdown to push the Crimson’s lead to 14—Clark engineered an impressive 80-yard drive and capped it with a bullet to a wide-open Mike Fitzgerald to make it 17-10. And as Harvard’s offense sputtered after the break, mustering...
