...interesting characterization of the traits of the town and its inhabitants, and is full of Emersonian phrases. Miss Calls article on "The Greatest Need of College Girls" is interesting and is refreshing from the very nature of the subject. There are a couple of clever pieces of fiction, a review of the political situation and a lot of letters of John Stuart Mill. These latter give an insight into the life of a great thinker and are decidedly interesting.
