Illinois Episcopal clergymen assembled at Freeport, Ill., last week to analyze the reluctance of divinity school graduates to settle in small towns. It has become as difficult for a country community to hold a parson as it has been to hold a physician. Rev. H. W. Superior, Wis., is a progressive town with shiny buildings, civic pride and a school board.This school board, headed by the Rev. A. T. Ekblad and backed by the Mayor, intends to prepare Superior children for "life" (i. e., business). In Central High School there has been for 23 years a popular teacher, Lulu J.
