...good view. You might try Winthrop, if everyone's getting along. With Kirkland and Eliot, I suppose you could go wrong. Quincy's too noisy, Cabot's quite nice, Leverett's not pretty, and Dunster has lice (well, it has ants, I think, but that doesn't rhyme). Basically they're all the same; pick one at random...
...Blaze of Glory, the longest, oldest and most dated-sounding of the three records here, covers Miller's collegiate and post-collegiate life ("Bad Year at UCLA" would have been "Bad Year at U.C. Davis," but he couldn't find a rhyme for "Davis"). Pointed Accounts of People You Know (1983) and Distortion (1984) are shorter and easier to dig, with delights to be found not only in the multiple melodies and the self-conscious wit, but in the sheer breadth of brightly muddy synth sound in, say, "Metal and Glass Exact...

Records released the hard-core rapper from his contract, apparently fearing more controversy after the storm last year over his song Cop Killer. However, the new album is, for the most part, balanced and coherent. On Race War, Ice-T calls for blacks, Asians and Hispanics to unite. On Message to the Soldier, he raps, "Check the history books, son/ Black leaders die young/ They tell us that our words are scary/ They're revolutionary." With his gangsta posturing, Ice-T is far from...
