And let me tell you, my friends, the “Juicebox” video has enough bravado to fill a bathtub or two. Over a pilfered bass riff, the video bounces between the requisite studio shots and semi-randomized staged hook-up hijinks. ...even Oldham’s weaker material plays stronger live. “Death to Everyone” sounds canned and petulant in the studio version, but on “Summer” Sweeney fleshes out the song’s anemic melody with a menacing electric guitar riff, giving the track much-needed heft.
