Yesterday afternoon the University team held a long batting practice, followed by fielding on the diamond. Stephenson played in his new position in right field and got under the ball better than on the previous day. Simons made some good catches, but is still a little awkward in handling the ball. Three fundamental changes were made in the line-up of the University baseball team in practice yesterday afternoon. Owing to Stephenson's weak throwing during the past few days, he was tried at right field, and Currier, who played in that position on Saturday, went in as catcher.
