Despite the lack of consistent team work the men play well individually. Captain D. Newhall at cover point plays a very aggressive and effective game, often carrying the puck the length of the rink and scoring alone. He lifts well and uses his body to excellent advantage, but shows a tendency to play too far out from his position. Pell is slow in following back, but his shooting is fairly accurate. At left centre Townsend is inclined to play too much by himself, but he follows back better than any of the other forwards. The fastest skater on the team...
