...hockey practice, which was held on Spy Pond yesterday afternoon, the first team defeated the second by the score of 5 to 1. Owing to the absence of a rink much time was lost in recovering the puck after long shots. The first team easily scored five goals in a 25-minute period in which the puck was almost continually in the second team's territory. The forwards on each team then changed places and in the last ten minutes of play only one more goal was scored. The first team's defence played hard and effectively, the best work...
