After the usual preliminary work in passing and shooting, in which the forwards of the first team practiced shooting goals against the defense, a forty minute line-up between the first and second teams was held. The play was a slight improvement, over any thus far, but was still very loose. The points were weak both in passing and lifting the puck, and their body checking was poor.
