Doctor Hamilton Rice '98, of Boston, who has just returned from an eighteen months' trip to the headwaters of the Rio Negro, in Colombia, has presented the Peabody Museum a valuable collection of ethnological material which he obtained from the natives of the region around the upper Uaupes River.
