GALES FERRY, June 4.--The Yale crew went out on the river at 5.45 o'clock this afternoon and rowed over a four-mile course. No official time was taken, but the stroke averaged about 29. ...preliminary heats for the championship of the Interscholastic Rowing Association were rowed on the Charles River yesterday over the mile course, down-stream. There were three heats with four crews in each heat, the Boston Latin School, the Cambridge Latin School, and the Waltham High School winning the three heats.
