...Weld first Sophomore and first Freshman crews won their heats yesterday afternoon in the preliminaries of the interclub class races over the regular course on the Charles River. A drizzling rain, unfavorable wind and heavy sea made fast time impossible, but did not deprive the race of the distinction of being among the most interesting of recent years.
