Last year he watched Varsity games from the Stadium roof where he could supplement by telephone communication Dick Harlow's limited view at ground level on the players' bench. This fall he makes varsity substitutions, crouching on the sidelines in front of the bench and giving players the final world before they go into the game. Harlow leaves him a free hand in this matter following a general overall briefing before the game and precluding unforeseen difficulties...

One cop was mashed in the face with a beer bottle, as the disturbance with a beer bottle, as the disturbance spread.
