This week, a panel of Harvard ROTC students and a student protest against Harvard’s refusal to officially recognize ROTC reminded the campus of Harvard’s troubled relationship with the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. In fact, Harvard treats ROTC scholarship money as it does other outside scholarship funds when evaluating financial aid levels, and accepting a ROTC scholarship does not change the overall level of aid received by the student...
