...Tuckerman '03 won the round robin golf tournament at Oakley yesterday afternoon by defeating R. E. Daniels '05, 2 up and 1 to play in an eighteen hole match. Both men putted poorly, which was, however, due in a measure to the rough condition of the greens. Daniels secured the lead at first by well directed approach shots, but Tuckerman evened the match at the turn and the score remained even till the fifteenth. Tuckerman won the fifteenth and sixteenth in bogey, and halved the seventeenth, thus winning the match...

...Newell four graded upperclass crews are rowing. The first crew, though powerful, is still rough and lacks snap. The three lower crews, on the other hand have more life, but fail to get a good leg drive. All the crews hang at the catch, a fault which has lately seemed worse at the Newell than at the Weld. The Newell Freshmen have been finally organized and no more changes will be made unless absolutely necessary. On the first crew, a powerful leg drive has been attained, but at the expense of clipping and rushing. The lower crews are mostly inexperienced...

Kernan, Bowditch, King, Knowles, Barnard and Marshall all played well, but outside of them, the team, as individuals, did nothing remarkable.
